The house offers 3 stunning bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom (yes please!). The interiors are stylish yet grounded in nature — calm, earthy tones with thoughtful touches that make the space feel both luxurious and inviting. There’s a large living area, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher & laundry included 🙌), and an indoor fireplace to keep things toasty when the mountain chill sets in.
Outside, you’ve got a covered braai and chill zone — the kind of place you want to linger long after dinner, wine in hand, under the stars. It’s also perfectly located, so you can walk or drive just a few minutes to all of McGregor’s highlights.
This town may be small, but it’s absolutely packed with magic. We joined a guided hike with @fossilhills that led us through epic mountain views and ended with a wine and ice cream pairing at McGregor Winery (yes, that’s a real thing and yes, it was as amazing as it sounds!). 🍦🍷
For foodies, there are some real gems. We had an incredible dinner at @at_the_courtyard — the pastas are next level. And for something a little more vibey, don’t miss @jimmys_in_mcgregor — their cocktails and tapas are the perfect way to ease into a chilled McGregor evening. 🍹😍

McGregor — where have you been all our lives?! 😍 This was our very first visit to this charming little town tucked away in the Western Cape, and we totally fell in love with the vibe. Think friendly locals, incredible food, scenic hiking trails, and the kind of peace that just sinks into your soul. It’s safe to say McGregor is now firmly on our “must-return” list. 🙌
